About the Event
We hope to establish a regular series of one-day meetings in Paris, bringing together NLP researchers from the Paris community and beyond to share research, stimulate discussion, and build collaborations.
Venue and Registration
The Pre-Conference will be held on June 25, 2026, at Salle Dussane, École normale supérieure (45 Rue d'Ulm, 75005 Paris).
The event is free of charge, but registration in advance is required.
Papers and Presentations
We welcome presentations of papers accepted to:
- ACL 2026 (including Findings)
- ACL 2026 Workshops
- ICML 2026 (NLP-related papers only)
If time permits, we may also accommodate:
- Recent journal publications in NLP (TACL, TMLR, etc.)
- Recent papers from other major conferences (Interspeech, IJCAI-ECAI, etc.)
If you would like to present your paper at this Pre-Conference, we would appreciate it if you could fill in the required information via Google form preferably by June 14th.
As we value in-person interaction, this event will not include online talks.
If you only wish to attend, simply register via the option at the top of the page (a confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration).
You can refer to the last Pre-Conference here.
Below is the current list of ACL and ICML papers planned for presentation. Registration is still open, so the list will continue to be updated.
- Amaia Cardiel, DRIV-EX: Counterfactual Explanations for Driving LLMs (ACL 2026)
- Angelo Ortiz Tandazo, MauBERT: Universal Phonetic Inductive Biases for Few-Shot Acoustic Units Discovery (ACL 2026)
- Djamé Seddah, Gaperon: A Peppered English-French Generative Language Model Suite (ACL 2026) (longer arXiv version)
- Mitodru Niyogi, Paramanu: Compact and Competitive Monolingual Language Models for Low-Resource Morphologically Rich Indian Languages (ACL 2026)
- Victor Morand, ToMMeR -- Efficient Entity Mention Detection from Large Language Models (ACL 2026)
- Xinhao Zhang, What Makes an LLM a Good Optimizer? A Trajectory Analysis of LLM-Guided Evolutionary Search (ACL 2026)
- Thomas Labbé, Hierarchy-Aware Hyperbolic and Semantic Reranking for Ontology-Based Phenotype Linking (ACL 2026 BioNLP Workshop)
- Armel Zebaze, Translation Heads: Disentangling meaning from language in LLM-based machine translation (ICML 2026)
- Tianyu Liu, Optimizing Language Models for Crosslingual Knowledge Consistency (ICML 2026)
- Valentin Noël, Geometry of Reason: Spectral Signatures of Valid Mathematical Reasoning (ICML 2026)
- Yanlin Qi, ParisKV: Fast and Drift-Robust KV-Cache Retrieval for Long-Context LLMs (ICML 2026)
We have also received expressions of interest from authors of papers accepted at other conferences, and a more complete list will be added later. Our goal is to provide presentation opportunities to as many researchers as possible, rather than imposing an additional selection process on already accepted papers.
